Conditioning base for hair conditioning creams and emulsions 40g makes 1L of conditioner Dehyquart C 4046 is an economic & mild self-emulsifying conditioner base with an outstanding performance profile. It is ready to use and contains no solvents. Dehyquart C 4046 has an excellent dermatological compatibility. It is non-irritating, neither for the eyes nor for the skin. Classified as “readily degradable” according to OECD method 301. Typical application concentrations are 4-8%, depending on the desired viscosity of the final product. Supplied as white to yellow wax-like pellets. Easy to use: 40g Conditioner base 950g distilled water 10g preservative 2-3 g essential oil optional: 10g Oil of chose Heat 500g water and base to 80 degree Celsius, stir until base is melted. Add optional oil and stir well then add remaining cold water slowly while stirring. Base with thicken. Once cooled to 40c add essential oil and stir well then add preservative and stir again. Allow to cool to room temperature then bottle and use as desired. Makes a good simple conditioner that makes it easier to comb hair, has antistatic properties, does not irritate the mucous membranes of the eyes, gives hair shine and volume and restores the structure of damaged hair and very affordable.
